β Emergency Transmission: Seeking Rocket Fuel (aka Your Support!) β
Greetings and Welcome!
Imagine you're a star in the universe of emotional, mental, and spiritual care. Since August 2021, I've been on a mission to illuminate this world with my business. It's been a wild ride with a few black holes along the way, but I've come to see these challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.
Here's the cosmic twist: I'm reaching out to you because we need a little rocket fuel to reach our goal of raising $27k. Your support could be the gravitational force that propels us forward.
Get ready, because you're about to read the full story of my incredible journey and vision!
Thanks a million light-years in advance for even considering helping us navigate this critical celestial junction!
With cosmic gratitude,
Daniel Caron
My Dearest Friend,
My name is Daniel Caron, and at 61, I'm writing to you today because I have a story that I really want to tell you. Itβs a story shaped by experiences that have left a lasting mark on my soul, teaching each of us about resilience and our remarkable ability to support one another.
So, why don't you sit back and let me share something very special with you β my memoir. I'll explain why I'm asking for your support at this critical moment.
I was raised in two foster homes in a small town south of Montreal, Canada, from 1964 to 1981. I felt a strong sense of uncertainty, and I found myself in a world where love appeared as a distant, unreachable star β beautiful but out of reach.
Imagine waking up each day without the warmth of a familiar face or the comfort of knowing where you belong. The adults in my life were often out of the picture, which made me wonder about my biological parents. In one home, I was stuck in a situation I didn't want to be in. The rules felt cruel and unfair. They were made by adults who saw me not as a child, but as a burden. I was expected to do whatever they wanted, like a slave. Their demands crushed my spirit.
During evening hours, as the city lights came to life, I would often sit by the window, observing the world around me. I often found myself gazing at our neighbors, a family of four. Their home always seemed to radiate a palpable warmth and love. They were good people, full of an easy joy and freedom that always made me pause and watch. In those moments, I distinctly remember feeling envious. Seeing them so happy and connected while I felt utterly miserable and alone, separated from the warmth of human interaction by a glass barrier, was painful. The longing I felt, being so close yet so painfully distant from vibrant human connection, still resonates deeply. It's a powerful reminder of just how vital and urgent true human interaction is.
Those early years were definitely hard, but they forged something powerful within me.
The hard times I went through made me want to be strong and not let the bad things in my life control me. As that passion grew, I found myself naturally drawn to stories. Books became more than just pages; they were lifelines and sanctuaries. I started collecting stories. I was interested in the strength that I saw in every story, and the deep wisdom of the people who had been through hard times. The words of heroes, both real and imagined β like the biblical character Samson or Captain America β became my quiet companions. Their stories of courage, determination, and dedication to something bigger than themselves offered a special kind of comfort. Each story, each powerful truth, made me feel better and helped me when I was scared or confused.
While reflecting on my own journey, I realized that I needed to do something. I have decided to dedicate myself to helping others who are going through hard times. I will be their guiding light in their darkest moments because I believe with strong conviction that no one should walk through the struggles alone.
Picture this: A letter carrier walking familiar streets and not just delivering mail but truly connecting with each person and story along the way. That was me. Every shared smile and brief interaction deepened my passion for community. That strong connection ultimately led me to become a motivational coach dedicated to igniting the same passion and purpose in others.
That connection, that inner drive, grew stronger with each passing year. And you know what? It showed up in amazing ways. In December 2019, I was honored for helping hospitalized children through OpΓ©ration Enfant Soleil. It felt really good knowing that even small actions can make a difference in someone's challenging times.
Why Now is a Good Time
For a long time, I felt a strong desire to do something more. This wasn't just a passing thought; it was something that affected me deeply, shaping my decisions and fueling my days. I wanted to help others find their strength.
So, in August 2021, I took a leap of faith. I poured everything I hadβmy energy, my heart, and my savingsβinto launching Daniel Caron Motivational Coaching Services.
My dream may sound simple, but it's very important to me. I want to create a place that helps people deal with hard times. I want to create a safe place where people can find strength, guidance, and the tools to deal with their problems.
But the reality of the coaching market was harder than I thought. The field is very competitive, and as a new service, it was hard to stand out against well-known brands that had more money to spend on advertising.
I put countless hours and all my energy into this business. The efforts to turn a profit, including narrating a full-length book titled "Le Candy Man (The Candy Man, in French)", all sadly fell short. Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that the company can no longer make money. Despite trying every possible option and using every resource I had, I ultimately had to make the very difficult decision to close the company.
I know this may come as a shock, and believe me, it wasn't an easy decision. It's a tough pill to swallow when something you care so much about doesn't work out the way you planned.
I'm disappointed and sad. I worked hard for years to help and empower people, and now I feel like I have failed. My coaching service had become important to some people. It made them feel hopeful and stronger. It also gave them good advice when they needed it. It's heartbreaking to see it crumble, especially since there are people who still need and benefit from it. I feel like I let them down when they needed support the most.
I'm writing to you today because we're at a critical moment. We have to choose between giving up and trying again. Do you remember the feeling, the spark, we had when we first started the coaching service? The energy we got from knowing that we were helping people deal with hard times and come out stronger on the other side?
I feel like we're going through a tough time right now. The service has stalled, and, honestly, I'm feeling the weight of it. But I refuse to let the flame die out.
This isn't just about me, although I wonβt pretend that I donβt need it. Relaunching this coaching service would bring stability back into my life and allow us to rekindle our mission of empowering others to overcome challenges and build fulfilling lives.
I believe in this. I believe in the impact it makes. And I believe that with your help, we can bring it back to life.
This is where we need you. We can't do this alone. We need your support, belief, and energy to restart this mission and reach more people who are looking for guidance and motivation.
